Special Issue on Translational Status of Magnesium Implants and Mechanistic Insights
Published 23 November, 2018
The special issue aims at displaying the current worldwide translational status of especially magnesium implant materials in light of the 10th anniversary of the “Biometal” conference. With respect to this, industry, clinicians and scientist are called to submit manuscripts. Focus of this issue should be the clinical status of degradable metallic implants, addressing regulatory issues and giving insights into the whole translational aspect. Additionally, as up till now the published literature is in many cases mainly descriptive, research groups working on mechanistic aspects why these implants are working are especially asked to submit manuscripts, as this will help to improve the clinical and public image of such implants, as well as considerably help in the regulatory process.
Submission deadline: 30 June 2019
