Special Issue on Eco-toxicology and Remediation of Emerging Pollutants
Published 05 May, 2020
Environmental pollution associated with emerging contaminants has been identified as global environmental issue due to its toxicity to biotic communities. Research associated with environmental pollution has been widely published but less so research on emerging pollutants and toxicological studies. Pollutants toxicity mechanisms, environmental characteristics and complete degradation (remediation) mechanisms need to be broadly studied and clarified to improve our understanding of their impact on environmental health.
This special issue covers the various research topics of emerging pollutants. Potential topics include, but not limited to:
- Identification of emerging pollutants
- Environmental characteristics
- Toxicological studies
- Eco-friendly remediation technologies
- Eco-friendly pollutant removal
- Using nanotechnology for pollutant removal
- Analytical technologies and control of pollutants
