Special Issue on Experiments and Simulation Techniques for Large-Scale Coupled Disasters

The study of large-scale coupled disasters involves a range of disciplines using multiple methods. For safety scientists, coupled disasters, experimental equipment for large-scale disasters, multi-scale disaster experiments, disaster simulation techniques, the integration of big data and high-performance computation are all hot fields of study. This special issue aims to feature state-of-the-art and inventive research from different fields and industries displaying a variety of approaches.

  • Dynamics of coupled disasters and human behaviour in disasters
  • Innovative simulation techniques for coupled disasters

  • Organisational, regulative and policy-making processes of large-scale coupled disasters

If the manuscript is accepted, the article will be published open access with no fee payable by the author.
