Special Issue on Sustainable Materials for Sensors and Drug Delivery

In recent years, numerous kinds of sustainable materials have been engineered with improved functional properties. For example, to create the next generation of drug delivery and sensor applications (drug-loaded micro- or nanoparticles, antimicrobial films, fibres, foams, polymeric sensors and nanosensors, etc). These renewable systems have a key role to play in areas such as sustainability, conservation, pollution control and greenhouse gas reduction.

This special issue will present novel, high-quality, original research articles as well as review articles, short communications and letters focused on sustainable materials for sensors and drug delivery.
