Translational Metabolic Syndrome Research is an international, peer-reviewed, open access publication that welcomes original research articles, short reports, hypotheses, focused reviews and case studies examining translational research of metabolic syndrome. The journal scope covers the prevention, treatment, management and diagnosis of metabolic syndrome, and the underpinning science derived from in vitro and in vivo models that have the potential to be translated into the development of population-based predictive, preventive and personalized treatment and diagnosis of metabolic syndrome.

The Global Chinese Medical Association of Scientists and Scholars (GCMASS) was established in June 2019 in Australia. It is the oversea branch of Chinese Research Hospital Association which is top tier society officially approved by and registered at the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China. GCMASS was founded by Prof. Wei Wang who comes from Edith Cowan University, Australia.
The aim of GCMASS is to unite Chinese scientists and scholars worldwide who are related medical research and practices, promote the generation, flow and application of medical science knowledge in a trinity form of medical services, scientific research and clinical teaching with the power of multidisciplinary integration and transformation. The official journal for GCMASS is Translational Metabolic Syndrome Research, which is currently organized by two Editors in Chief, Prof Wei Wang and Prof Gordon Ferns from Brighton and Sussex Medical School, UK.
