Submissions Open for the TFAP Conference 2021 as JPSE Becomes an Official Partner

We are happy to announce that Journal of Pipeline Science and Engineering (JPSE) has recently been acknowledged by the Great Southern Press (GSP) as an official media partner of the Technology for Future and Ageing Pipelines conference (TFAP).

The countdown to TFAP 2021 has begun.

Now is the time to:

Scheduled for 19-21 October 2021, TFAP 2021 will be held in Ghent, Belgium, and will attract top researchers, engineers and decision-makers from pipeline research and academia. The three-day conference aims to share the latest knowledge and achievements in relation to the assessment, use and maintenance of both ageing high-pressure transmission pipeline systems and ageing low-pressure distribution pipeline systems.

TFAP 2021 is now accepting abstracts for its conference programme and encourages all interested parties to submit their synopses by 12 March 2021. The programme will cover a range of topics within the pipeline spectrum, including, but not limited to:

  • Corrosion
  • Decarbonisation
  • Pipeline welding
  • Risk management
  • Integrity assessment
  • Repair

Abstracts should be no longer than 300 words and must be in English to be considered. Potential speakers are encouraged to read through the themes listed in the submission process on the TFAP website for guidance.

Special attention will be given to hot topics in the field of pipeline technology and research, such as hydrogen transport. Places in the conference program are limited and successful applicants will be notified in April 2021.

The organisers of TFAP 2021 are committed to delivering a safe and enjoyable event and will monitor the COVID-19 situation closely. If the event is unable to proceed as planned, it will be postponed to a future date and all registration payments will be refunded or transferred to the new date.
