Animal Nutrition at ANI-NUE2017

The 2nd International Conference on Animal Nutrition and Environment (ANI-NUE2017) was held from 1st to 4th of November, 2017, in Khon Kaen, Thailand. The theme of the conference was “Towards the Betterment of Animal Productivity, Conserving Resources and Environment”. Approx. 150 researchers from more than 20 countries and attended the conference, with 100 scholars presenting their work. It was an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences and information, share findings, and form new collaborations. In particular, the Young Scientist Forum offered an excellent opportunity to learn and communicate with others.

Editorial director, Prof. Jing Wang, and two managing editors of Animal Nutrition attended the conference. The chairman of the conference, a well-known expert in animal nutrition in Thailand, Prof. Dr. Metha Wanapat accepted our invitation to become an editorial board member. Other distinguished experts at the conference also joined the editorial board, highlighting the journal’s international editorship.

As the only sponsoring media, Animal Nutrition signed an agreement with the organizing committee to publish the best conference papers in a special issue in 2018. Prof. Wanapat agreed to be the guest editor of the special issue.

As a way to enhance the journal’s international influence, a newly designed poster of Animal Nutrition was shown at the journal exhibition booth, and journals copies and leaflets were distributed to attendees. Through attending this conference, we not only successfully organized one special issue, but were also able to meet with international experts from related fields.
