Special issue on the use of data analytics in responses to COVID-19

Data analytics have played a crucial role in our understanding of COVID-19 transmission and have supported decision making in mitigating the pandemic.

This special issue will feature original, innovative research that implements data-driven approaches to expand our knowledge of the causes and consequences of the virus. We welcome studies on COVID-19-related data, including acquisition, statistical modelling, epidemic dynamics, resurgence and mutation, non-pharmaceutical intervention and mitigation, psychological and emotional influence, and socioeconomic impact.

This special issue is supported by the Big Data and Data Quality Research Branch of the Chinese Society of Optimization, Overall Planning and Economic Mathematics.
