Special Issue on Application of Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things Technologies on Advanced Sensors and Energy Internet

Artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) have a robust process-optimisation capability and strong learning flexibility. This enables them to simultaneously address high-dimensional, time-varying and non-linear issues, as well as various challenges facing advanced sensors (ASs) and the energy internet (EI). At the same time, with the development of human-machine exchange technology, biological imaging and unmanned monitoring technology, sensors are constantly adapting their application requirements of high sensitivity, wearability, high integration, high monitoring accuracy and low costs. To this end, both industry and academia are actively studying the integration of AI and IoT technologies and energy network applications. They are focusing on developing a smart energy system that combines intelligent sensing with the physical state, data, simulation models, decision-making and operational control. This special issue aims to discuss, in depth, the application of AI and IoT technologies to optimise smart systems and sensors.
