Solid State Electronics Letters (SSEL) is an Open Access journal aiming for the rapid dissemination of high quality, peer reviewed, original research and applications in the broad area of solid state devices, circuits, systems and emerging technologies. Solid State Electronics Letters avoids strict limitations in scope: the journal's scope is broad and dynamic to reflect ongoing trends in the field. Current topics of interest include but is not limited to:

  • Analog Circuits and Systems
  • Digital Circuits and Systems
  • Data Converters
  • System on Chip
  • Radio Frequency Devices and Circuits
  • Wireline Communication Circuits
  • Memory Devices and Circuits
  • Electronic Devices and Systems
  • MEMS, Sensors and Display

The main interest of the journal is in technologies related directly to integrated circuits and novel devices. Experimental verification is strongly encouraged. Materials fabrication and analysis are not topics of emphasis of this journal. Papers on materials should be relevant to current and future soild-state devices and circuits.

Solid State Electronics Letters welcomes the following types of contribution: original research articles, review article, correspondence, letters (high quality short papers).

Please note that given the wide availability of circuit and TCAD simulation packages, simulation papers should be coupled with novel concepts or novel analytical approaches.
