Special Issue on International Semiconductor Conference 2020 (CAS2020)

The International Semiconductor Conference (CAS2020) is the 43rd edition of this conference series. Originally titled the Annual Semiconductor Conference (acronym CAS), this conference has been held annually in Romanian since 1978 and starting with 1991 it became an international conference CAS is a recognised forum for sharing ideas and experience to emphasise the huge impact of semiconductors in everyday society, such as communications, consumer electronics, computing, healthcare, security, transportation and clean energy. The conference highlights the vast potential of semiconductors, their future development and new applications.
