Published 27 April, 2020
The urgent global quest for studies to prevent, mitigate or cure COVID-19 highlights to need for translation of medical and basic life science research into clinical practice. COVID-19 and host interactomes has presented patients with complicated clinical respiratory symptoms/characteristics, causing high mortality/fatality particularly among the patients with other underling medical conditions, such as hypertension, obesity, diabetes, and lipid disorders which are all the core elements with the clinical characteristics of metabolic syndrome.
Translational Metabolic Syndrome Research is the ideal journal to present the topics relevant to the above-mentioned studies from clinical diagnosis and treatment to social distancing, and community prevention and mitigation.
