Energy Efficient Underground Space
Published 19 December, 2019
We invite investigators to contribute original research articles, as well as review articles, that will stimulate the continuous efforts on understanding the operational principles of the various technologies and systems about built environment and fire safety in underground spaces. We are particularly interested in articles describing new materials, methods, theories, or practical innovations that can help improving the safety and thermal & humid environment control of underground space. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
- Thermal & humid environment technologies of underground space;
- Clean/Renewable energy applicable in underground space;
- Fire safety technologies in underground spaces;
- Energy storage with/without phase change materials and its application in underground space;
- Energy efficiency technologies in underground space;
- Air quality in underground space;
- New technologies/systems development and application about built environment in underground space.
- Lighting technologies in underground space.
