Special Issue on Advances in InSAR Algorithms, Deformation Monitoring and Source Parameter Inversion

已发布 04 八月, 2020

The recent unprecedented access to satellite synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) data has led to growing interest in the development of InSAR methods. These methods have been successfully applied to detection, monitoring, and modelling of disasters due to earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, glaciers, landslides and other anthropogenic and natural hazards. They have also provided the opportunity to identify urban vulnerabilities and land subsidence. Our collective understanding of various geophysical processes has been improved through modelling of InSAR displacements.

This special issue invites papers highlighting recent advances in methodologies and applications of InSAR to ground deformation monitoring and source parameter inversion. We encourage submissions of review and original research articles.

Topics Covered

Topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Novel InSAR algorithms and processing methods
  • Efficient performance computing algorithms for SAR data processing
  • Innovative InSAR atmospheric artefacts correction methods
  • Advances in understanding of ground deformation processes (both natural and anthropogenic)
  • InSAR monitoring and modelling tectonic and geophysical processes
  • InSAR geohazard monitoring, early identification and warning
  • InSAR applications for infrastructure monitoring
  • InSAR applications for glacier motion and permafrost deformation monitoring
  • Other topics related to InSAR and geohazard research
