Bioactive Materials Innovation Award

The Bioactive Materials Innovation Award recognizes individuals who have made significant research innovations and achievements in the field of bioactive materials. Every year a maximum of two individuals will be awarded a certificate and US$2,000 in cash each.

Details of the Award:

  1. The nominee should be an independent researcher. PhD students and postdoctoral research associates are not eligible.
  2. The nominee should have made a significant contribution to the field of bioactive materials. The contribution includes scientific innovations, technology translation and/or product development related to bioactive materials.
  3. Each nomination should include:
  • CV of Nominee (no more than 10 pages)
  • Statement of Achievement (1 page)
  • A nomination letter (from the nominator)
  • One additional Supporting Letter
  • Evidence of contributions (papers, products) (<5 items)

Each recipient will receive:

  • Certification of Award
  • A cash honorarium of US$2,000
  • An invitation to contribute an article to Bioactive Materials with APC free and a complimentary cover for the issue in which the article appears

Award and Ceremony

Once the recipients of the Innovation Awards are selected by the award selection panel, a presentation venue will be arranged for the following year.
