Bioactive Materials Lifetime Achievement Award, an award from the journal Bioactive Materials (IF 2022: 18.9). The annual Bioactive Materials Lifetime Achievement Award was established in 2021 to recognize excellence in research and development in the field. It is presented to the person judged to have demonstrated excellence and leadership in bioactive materials, including basic science and translation to practice. Each year the general bioactive materials community is invited to nominate suitable award candidates who should be world leaders in the field of bioactive materials, and whose accomplishments in discovery and translation to practice are unsurpassed. All candidates are placed on a ballot, which is then considered by the selection committee. The candidate with the most points was chosen as the Lifetime Achievement Award winner.
