Professor Lynden A. Archer works in the Smith School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Cornell University. He is a fellow of the American Physical Society and a Member of the National Academy of Engineering. His research is rooted in nanoscale materials, including the investigation of how these materials behave at the fundamental level and their applications to electrochemical energy storage devices. He is regarded as the modern father of nanofibers. He is named among the World's Most Influential Minds (Thomson Reuters) and the Top 1% Highly Cited Researchers in the world (Clarivate Analytics). He was appointed as an associated editor of eScience in 2020.

Professor Li-Zhu Wu is an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a full professor of the Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry, the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Her research interests are focused on photochemistry research, including artificial photosynthesis, visible light catalysis for organic transformation, and photoinduced electron transfer, energy transfer and chemical reactions in supramolecular systems. She was appointed as the associate editor of eScience in 2020.
