Published 23 March, 2023

International Journal of Transportation Science and Technology (IJTST) is officially indexed in EI Compendex.

EI Compendex is the oldest comprehensive database in the history with an excellent reputation in the world. It is currently the most widely used and complete engineering literature database.

IJTST, sponsored by Tongji University, is an international academic journal serving the first-class discipline of transportation engineering.

IJTST was founded in 2012 by Prof. Zhongyin Guo from the College of Transportation Engineering of Tongji University, and Drs. Zhonggren Wang and Chiu Liu from the Department of Transportation, California. The ownership of IJTST was transferred to Tongji University in 2016.

Introduction to IJTST

IJTST publishes articles on transportation, planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance management of transportation facilities and other related technologies quarterly. As of December 2022, 11 volumes, 44 issues and 328 academic papers have been published.

IJTST places an emphasis on the basic theories and general technologies of comprehensive, intelligent and sustainable transportation, concentrating on cutting-edge technologies of sustainable and intelligent transportation, as well as publishing relevant high-level articles in the fields of transportation system planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance management.

At present, the journal is indexed in DOAJ, Scopus, EI Compendex and other important databases, and is in the Q1 of its discipline with a 2021 CiteScore of 6.6. According to the WOS citation, the IF of IJTST is estimated to be 3.4, which is higher than the average IF of SCI retrieval journals of transportation.
