A message from the chair of CASP 2022

Dear Colleague,
As you may be aware, we are organising the 2nd International Conference and Exhibition on Corrosion and Surface Protection for Steel (CASP 2022) to be a fully virtual event between 25 and 26 May 2022.
CASP conferences are organised by the Turkish Constructional Steelwork Association (TUCSA) in coordination with the European Convention for Constructional Steelwork (ECCS).
Main topics
The conference will cover not only all aspects of corrosion science and engineering but also steel and other relevant material protection.

- Corrosion monitoring
- Corrosion-resistant materials
- Surface treatment and coatings
- Inspection and non-destructive testing
- Electrochemical methods
- Analytical techniques and microscopy
- Corrosion inhibitors
In addition, relations between corrosion and emission of greenhouse gases within the global warming issue will be covered for this year as well.
During the 2-day event, participants will have the opportunity to present short talks on their work and engage in stimulating discussions. The deadline for abstract submission was extended until: 25 April 2022, so do not miss this chance to submit your work. You will be notified by 10 May 2022 about the acceptance for an oral presentation.
