Open Access Journal
This journal is a peer reviewed, fully open access journal owned by Hospital of Stomatology, Xi'an Jiaotong University. Hospital of Stomatology, Xi'an Jiaotong University retains copyright of the overall compiled journal and the compiled issues. The article is universally and freely accessible via the internet in perpetuity, in an easily readable format immediately after publication.
To provide open access, this journal has an open access fee (also known as an Article Processing Charge, APC) which needs to be paid by the authors or on their behalf e.g. by their research funder or institution. The open access publication fee for this journal is USD 1000, plus taxes. All APCs for articles submitted to the journal before 31st of December 2025 will be fully waived. The APC waiver period could be adjusted according to the development of the journal.

All articles published open access will be immediately and permanently free for everyone to read, download, copy and distribute.

For open access publishing this journal uses a licensing agreement. Authors will transfer copyright to Editorial Office of Translational Dental Research, Hospital of Stomatology, Xi'an Jiaotong University, but will have the right to share their article in the same way permitted to third parties under the relevant user license, as well as certain scholarly usage rights.
