It paves the way for machines to have reasoning abilities which are analogous to human. The journal Cognitive Robotics will publish state-of-the-art research in this exciting field.

Huimin Lu

Editor-in-Chief, Cognitive Robotics

Dr. Lu received a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Kyushu Institute of Technology, Japan in 2014 and is now an associate professor at the institution. In addition, he is an Excellent Young Researcher of Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Japan and was elected as a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in 2019. Dr. Lu has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers and serves as an editor for several prominent journals. His research interests include artificial intelligence, machine vision, deep-sea observing and robotics.

Mohsen Guizani

Qatar University, Qatar

Professor Guizani is a fellow of IEEE and a senior member of the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM). He also serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Network Magazine, and is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Wireless Communications.

Nikhil R. Pal

Indian Statistical Institute, India

Professor Pal is the Head of the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and a professor of Electronics and Communication Sciences at the Indian Statistical Institute. He is a fellow of the National Academy of Sciences, India, Indian National Academy of Engineering, Indian National Science Academy, International Fuzzy Systems Association (IFSA), The World Academy of Sciences, and the IEEE, USA. His current research interest includes brain science, computational intelligence, machine learning and data mining.

Rushi Lan

Associate Editor of Cognitive Robotics

Dr. Lan is a member of the School of Computer Science and Information Security and Deputy Director of the Guangxi Key Laboratory of Intelligent Processing of Computer Image and Graphics at Guilin University of Electronic Technology, China. His research interests include image processing, machine learning, and pattern classification.
