Bioactive Materials Gold Award

The Bioactive Materials Gold Award was established in 2020 to recognise excellence in research and development in the field of bioactive materials.

Background

The Bioactive Materials Gold Award is awarded every year to the person judged to have demonstrated excellence and leadership in bioactive materials, including basic science and translation to practice.

Winners

Nominees are solicited each year from the general bioactive materials community, based on demonstrated ability and leadership in bioactive materials research and technology.

Application Process

We invite nominations from the bioactive materials science community for the Bioactive Materials Gold Award. The awardee should be an undisputed world leader in the field of bioactive materials, whose accomplishments in discovery and translation to practice are surpassing and known to all in the field. Nominations should consist of the nominee's curriculum vitae and a letter of nomination. Seconding nomination letters are recommended. The selection process will be conducted by an international panel of distinguished judges and a suitable presentation venue will be arranged for the following year.
