Professor Bingbing Liu is a recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. She serves as Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Jilin University, and Director of the State Key Laboratory of High Pressure and Superhard Materials. She has long been engaged in high-pressure modulation of low-dimensional and carbon-based functional materials, as well as extreme-condition material design and in-situ experimental technology. She has published more than 400 papers in journals including Nature, Science, PRL and Adv. Mater., and has been granted over 40 authorized invention patents. She also serves as Associate Editor of Diam. Relat. Mater.
