Gerard Aka

Professor Gerard Aka is a professor at Chimie Paristech-PSL Unviversty, France. He belongs to the Materials for Photonics and Optoelectronics (MPOE) research team at IRCP research Institute. He has held multiple key administrative positions including Deputy Director of Chemistry at ParisTech, Director of the LCMCP‑Chimie Laboratory, and Vice‑President of the Board of Directors of Chimie ParisTech. His research focuses on the inorganic functional crystalline materials including laser and borate based nonlinear crystal for various applications.
