Professor Haohai Yu is a Fellow of Optica and an Alexander von Humboldt Scholar. He serves as Professor at Shandong University. He has long been engaged in fundamental and applied research on optoelectronic functional crystals. He has published more than 90 papers in journals including Nature Phys., Nat. Commun., Adv. Mater., JACS, and Light: Sci. Appl. He is continuously listed in Elsevier’s Annual List of Highly Cited Chinese Researchers. He also acts as Director of the Chinese Ceramic Society, Vice Chair of the Crystal Growth and Material Characterization Division of the Chinese Ceramic Society, Standing Director of the Chinese Crystallographic Society, and International Committee Member of Photonics West.
