Professor Liangbi Su is a recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. He serves as Director of the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Director of the State Key Laboratory of Functional Crystals and Devices. He has long‑term been engaged in fundamental and applied research on crystal materials for cutting‑edge laser‑crystal development and the pursuit of ultimate performance for artificial crystals. He has published more than 200 papers in functional crystals, co‑authored six monographs, been granted 29 authorized invention patents, and formulated four relevant standards.
