Professor Zhiguo Xia is a recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. He serves as Vice-Dean of the State Key Laboratory of Luminescent Materials and Devices at South China University of Technology. His research interests cover inorganic luminescent materials and devices, focusing on structure‑property relationships and optoelectronic applications of rare‑earth and metal‑halide luminescent materials. He has published over 200 SCI‑indexed papers. He is a Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher and Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, and has received multiple scientific awards.
