Dr. Zhihua Sun is a professor at the Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has been supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China for Distinguished Young Scholar. Currently, his research interests cover the chemical design of molecule-based ferroelectric materials and their physical properties toward smart optoelectronic device applications, such as bulk ferroelectric photovoltaics, Rashba effect, and self-powered photodetection. Up to date, he has published more than 200 SCI-indexed academic papers in the famous international journals, including Proc. Natl. Aacd. Sci., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem., Sci. Adv., Nat. Commun., with an H-index of 60. Meanwhile, he has also obtained about 20 Chinese national invention patents.
