AWE Successfully Holds 2025 Global Editorial Board Meeting

On the evening of August 15 2025, AWE convened its 2025 Global Editorial Board Meeting during the 10th Asia-Pacific Conference on Wind Engineering (APCWE10) in Chengdu, China. Held in a hybrid format, the meeting brought together editorial board members from Asia, Europe, North America, and Oceania to discuss strategic directions for the journal.

The meeting reviewed AWE's progress since its launch in April 2024, presented key metrics on submissions, publications, and readership, and highlighted ongoing initiatives to expand its global reach.

Editorial board members also discussed key challenges and strategies, providing input on attracting high-quality international submissions, enhancing global impact, improving peer-review quality and efficiency, planning cutting-edge special issues, and exploring synergies between academic publishing and artificial intelligence.

As AWE advances toward becoming a world-class journal, it is poised to strengthen its academic leadership and serve as a premier global platform for knowledge exchange and innovation in wind engineering.
