The AWE Best Student Paper Award was announced at the 10th Asia-Pacific Conference on Wind Engineering (APCWE10), held in Chengdu, China, on August 16, 2025. This marks the second time AWE has sponsored the award at an international conference, having previously supported it at the 15th Americas Conference on Wind Engineering, with the aim of inspiring and recognizing excellence among students in wind engineering.
Open to master's and doctoral students, the award was granted based on criteria including scientific rigor, originality, engineering significance, and presentation performance. An international judging panel composed of AWE editorial board members ensured a fair and authoritative selection process.
Following a rigorous full-text review and an on-site defense, three outstanding students were selected from a highly competitive field. Their research stood out for its innovation, practical significance, and academic merit, spanning multiple cutting-edge areas of wind engineering and demonstrating the remarkable potential of the next generation of researchers.
