Congratulations to Prof. Hua Wang, Editor-in-Chief of Artificial Intelligence in Geosciences, on Receiving an International Award

On April 10th, 2025, the Society of Petrophysicists and Well Log Analysts (SPWLA), the world's most authoritative international academic organization in the field of rock physics and well logging evaluation, announced its 2026 individual achievement awards.
Prof. Hua Wang, Editor-in-Chief of Artificial Intelligence in Geosciences, Associate Dean of the School of Resources and Environment at University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, and leader of the Intelligent Sensing and Imaging Team for Acoustic Information at UESTC, has been honored with the Meritorious Technical Achievement Award by SPWLA in recognition of his sustained technological innovations and interdisciplinary contributions in borehole geophysics. He is the second Chinese scholar to receive this prestigious award.
