Special issue on affective antecedents and outcomes of physical activity and sedentary behaviour

Introduction:
This special issue welcomes papers on affective antecedents and/or affective outcomes in the context of health-enhancing physical activity, including exercise and sedentary behaviour. Most types of papers are welcome, including commentaries and critical narrative reviews, systematic reviews, large secondary data analyses and primary research studies, including qualitative methods.
Topics covered:
These include, but are not limited to:
- Emotions and mental health markers as antecedents of physical activity and/or sedentary behaviour; for example, the role they play in predicting exercise adherence.
- Emotions and mental health markers as outcomes of physical activity and/or sedentary behaviour; for example, acute affective reactions to different types of physical activity.
