Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine is a peer-reviewed international research journal. In-depth in vitro studies, animal studies, and pre-clinical studies related to tropical human diseases are welcome. Studies in the categories of immunology and microbiology, parasitology, genetics and molecular biology, cell biology of tropical infectious diseases, including Tropical and Neglected Tropical Diseases, and studies in laboratory science and new technology in tropical medicine are considered. Pharmaceutical studies of medicinal herbs in the tropical regions with elucidation of biological actions and mechanisms are also welcomed. Manuscripts with innovative ideas and/or approaches that bridge different fields are considered with priority.
