CMP Participates in the 38th Central-South China Six-Province (Region) Health Economics Academic Symposium

The 38th Central-South China Six-Province (Region) Health Economics Academic Symposium, alongside the “Medical Research Capacity Building and Practice – Editor-in-Chief’s Perspective” workshop, was successfully held in Guangzhou on November 30, 2025. The event was hosted by the Guangdong Health Economics Association. Current Molecular Pharmacology (CMP) was honored to participate in this significant gathering, engaging with leading experts and researchers in the field.

The symposium featured a rich agenda focusing on enhancing medical research capabilities and publication strategies. Sessions covered topics such as scientific paper writing, AI applications in drug discovery and adverse reaction monitoring, innovation in antitumor drug development, and strategies for successful journal submissions. During the conference, Prof. Luo Peng, Executive Associate Editor of CMP, delivered a keynote speech titled “Application of AI in Drug Adverse Reactions and Drug Discovery,” sharing insights at the intersection of artificial intelligence and pharmacological research. Current Molecular Pharmacology is an international, peer-reviewed journal under Far Publishing, dedicated to publishing the latest advances in cellular and molecular pharmacology. With an Impact Factor of 2.9, the journal’s CiteScore is 5.5. It ranks 150/352 (Q2) in PHARMACOLOGY & PHARMACY and 182/319 (Q3) in BIOCHEMISTRY & MOLECULAR BIOLOGY, demonstrating its steady influence in relevant academic disciplines.

Through active participation in conferences such as this, CMP aims to strengthen ties with the research community, understand evolving scholarly needs, and promote high-quality, impactful publications.
