Embodied Intelligence and Autonomous Systems (EIAS) is dedicated to advancing the theory, methodology, and applications of embodied intelligence in natural and artificial agents. The journal focuses on the deep integration of perception, cognition, decision-making, and control during physical agents’ interaction with complex, dynamic environments. It emphasizes how intelligent behavior emerges from closed-loop coupling between body, control architecture, and environment. Core themes include but are not limited to: autonomous control, intelligent perception, dynamic optimization, and robotics. The journal welcomes original research, reviews, and application-driven studies covering:
• Embodied intelligence and embodied cognition
• Autonomous control, decision-making, and adaptive systems
• Intelligent perception and perception-action coupling
• Closed-loop intelligent control and dynamic optimization
• Learning-based, data-driven, and hybrid autonomous control
• Sensorimotor integration and multimodal perception in embodied agents
• Robotics (autonomous robots, intelligent machines, cyber-physical systems)
• Human-robot interaction and human-in-the-loop autonomy
• Bio-inspired and neuro-inspired control and intelligence
• Cognitive modeling of complex systems
• Efficient optimization using natural or artificial intelligence
• Embodied intelligence in complex, uncertain, and dynamic environments
• Applications in industrial automation, smart manufacturing, and intelligent infrastructure
