Call for Applications: 2026 Luojia Global Summer School – Community Rehabilitation Nursing Program, Wuhan University

The 2026 Luojia Global Summer School – Community Rehabilitation Nursing Program is organized by Dr. Xianmei Meng, Director of the Chronic Disease Rehabilitation Laboratory, School of Nursing, Wuhan University. Tailored for international undergraduate and postgraduate students majoring in health-related disciplines, this program integrates lectures, field visits and student presentations with group discussions, delivering well-rounded learning and hands-on practical experience.

Lectures

We invite distinguished experts and scholars from home and abroad to deliver lectures. Adopting diversified teaching forms including academic lectures, thematic seminars and case studies, the courses focus on the latest global research and developments in community rehabilitation nursing.

Field Visits

Participants will tour community health service centers, traditional medicine rehabilitation clinics, the Rehabilitation Center of Hubei Disabled Persons' Federation, assistive technology centers and urban community service facilities across Wuhan. During the visits, students will join professional exchanges and communicate with industry specialists, gaining in-depth insights into China's advanced digital and intelligent rehabilitation services.

Student Presentations

Students are required to deliver presentations on the development of community rehabilitation services, sharing their research findings or field visit experiences.

This program is tuition-free, covering all course fees, cultural activities and field visit expenses. Free single-room accommodation on Wuhan University campus will also be provided. During the program, participants will have opportunities to visit iconic local attractions in Wuhan, including the Yellow Crane Tower, Hubei Provincial Museum and historic cultural districts. We will provide English-speaking volunteer consultants, simultaneous interpretation for lectures and field activities, professional tour guides and shuttle buses for off-campus arrangements.
