International Journal of Transportation Science and Technology Holds Annual Editorial Board Meeting at TRB 2026

The annual meeting of International Journal of Transportation Science and Technology (IJTST) was held on January 12, 2026, at the Marquis Salon 14 (M2) / Marriott Marquis Room in Washington D.C., during the 105^th Annual Meeting of Transportation Research Board (TRB). A Zoom option was also provided to facilitate virtual participation. 

The meeting was attended by the Editors-in-Chief, Associate Editors, Editorial Board Members and journal staff. Professor Zhongren Wang, School of Transportation Engineering, Tongji University - an Executive Editor-in-Chief of IJTST and a member of overseas high-level talent recruitment programs - chaired the meeting.

Professor Wang expressed his sincere appreciation to all participants for their dedication and contributions to IJTST over the past year and shared his vision and expectations for the journal's future development.

Professor Hui Li, School of Transportation Engineering, Tongji University, also addressed the meeting. He highly recognized IJTST's achievements and impact in the field of transportation science and technology and exchanged views with editorial board members on the journal’s future development strategies and directions.

Professor Wei (David) Fan, Editor-in-Chief of IJTST and Professor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, presented a comprehensive report to the Editorial Board on the journal's manuscript status, key achievements in 2025, and development plans for 2026. His presentation highlighted the continued growth of IJTST's international influence and provided an analysis of key performance metrics, including submissions, publications, downloads, citations, and acceptance rates.

The meeting concluded with an awards ceremony recognizing recipients of the Best Editor Award, Outstanding Reviewer Award, and Most Cited Paper Award. Editor-in-Chief Professor Wei (David) Fan presented certificates to the award winners.
