Special Issue on Safety and Resilience of Energy Infrastructure
Published 08 April, 2026
Energy infrastructure is increasingly threatened by complex loads and extreme weather events. Ensuring its secure operation therefore requires innovative advances in resilient design theory, reliability assessment methods and enhancement technologies. These research areas are crucial to the continuous and stable development of energy system worldwide.
This Special Issue invites contributors on the seismic- and wind-resistance design of energy infrastructure, flood and lightning protection, reliability assessment under extreme weather conditions, resilience assessment and enhancement technologies, and emergency repair and rapid restoration of energy infrastructure. Studies in other relevant fields are also welcome.
