The Journal of Information and Intelligence is committed to publishing rigorously peer-reviewed, high-quality original research papers, review articles, and perspective articles in the fields of information and intelligence. The journal welcomes contributions on both fundamental and applied research, and particularly encourages interdisciplinary work that bridges the two aspects. Xidian University (XDU), founded in 1931, is globally recognized in the fields of electronics and information science.

 

With an academic community of 2,800+ faculty members, 39,000+ students, XDU operates through 28 teaching and research divisions. The comprehensive academic structure of XDU features 19 first-level doctoral programs, 29 first-level master's programs, 15 postdoctoral research stations, and 68 undergraduate majors. XDU has international partnerships with 188 universities and research institutions across more than 35 countries, along with the establishment of 67 international joint laboratories. XDU has an alumni network of over 350,000 graduates worldwide.

 

According to the latest Essential Science Indicators (ESI) report, XDU's Computer Science ranks among the global top 1‱, while Engineering discipline sits in the top 1‰ worldwide. Five additional disciplines — Earth Science, Materials Science, Clinical Medicine, Physics, and Chemistry — have all secured positions within the global top 1%. In the Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (Shanghai Ranking), XDU's Remote Sensing Technology program ranks among the world's top 5, while Communication Engineering program has secured a position in the global top 5.

 

XDU has two "Double First-Class" disciplines: Information and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Technology. In the Fourth National Discipline Assessment conducted by China's Ministry of Education, three first-level disciplines achieved top-tier ratings. Notably, Electronic Science and Technology received an A+ rating and ranked the first nationwide, while Information and Communication Engineering earned an A rating, and Computer Science and Technology secured an A- rating. In the Chinese Subject Rankings (Best Disciplines), XDU holds the top national position in three key areas: Information and Telecommunication Engineering, Cyberspace Security, and Electronic Science and Technology.
