Magnesium Products, Manufacturing and Applications

Introduction:

To accelerate the industrial adoption of magnesium as green lightweight materials and energy storage materials, the Journal of Magnesium and Alloys launches this Special Column on “Magnesium Products, Manufacturing and Applications”. It focuses on the magnesium products, manufacturing technologies and applications. The issue also addresses critical industrialization challenges including surface protection and cost efficiency. We invite researchers and engineers worldwide to contribute letter and industrial case reports, technical notes.

Topics covered:

• Product design

(e.g., lightweight components, bio-implants, and energy storage devices, etc..)

• Manufacturing technology

(e.g., die-casting, semi-solid forming, precision casting, deformation processing, and additive manufacturing, etc..)

• Product application

(e.g., aerospace, new-energy vehicles, electronics, and biomedical fields, etc..)
