Introduction:

Against the backdrop of global carbon neutrality governance and accelerating energy transition, Natural Gas Industry B (NGIB) will publish a special issue in 2027 on "CCUS in Oil and Gas: Theoretical Advances, Technological Innovations, and Multi‑Energy Synergy for Green Transition".

We invite high-quality original research, engineering applications, and review papers from universities, research institutes, and enterprises worldwide.

• CO₂ Flooding for Enhanced Oil Recovery and Mechanisms of Synergistic Carbon Storage in Reservoirs 
• Safety Theory for Deep CO₂ Geological Storage and Energy Storage Technologies in Oil and Gas Reservoirs
• CO₂ Pipeline Transportation and Safety Assurance Technologies for Full-Chain CCUS Infrastructure
• Theoretical and Core Engineering Approaches for Offshore/Nearshore CCUS
• Multi-Energy Coupling and Integration of CCUS with New Energy Systems and Full-System Intelligent Regulation

All submissions will undergo Natural Gas Industry B (NGIB)' standard peer-review process. Once accepted, articles will be published open access with no fee payable by the authors.
