Originality is an international, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research across a broad spectrum of scientific disciplines. Co-owned by the University of Science and Technology Beijing, Peking University, and China Rural Special Technology Association, the journal spans Life Sciences, Agriculture and Food Systems, Physical Sciences, Engineering, Earth and Environmental Sciences, and Interdisciplinary Sciences.

Originality welcomes original research that inspires and leads future scientific innovation in both specialized and interdisciplinary fields. Submissions are evaluated for their originality, significance, methodological and rigor, and the impact of their findings. Interdisciplinary work is particularly encouraged for its potential to address complex, cross-cutting challenges.

All submissions undergo rigorous peer review to ensure the highest standards of academic integrity and clarity.

Originality accepts a wide range of article types, including full-length articles, short communications, review articles, perspectives, commentaries, case reports, editorials, news articles, correspondence, protocols and data articles.
