Published 17 October, 2025
Resources Chemicals and Materials (RCM) (eISSN: 2772-4433) is an international, interdisciplinary open access journal jointly sponsored by Shenyang University of Chemical Technology and KeAi Publishing, a joint venture established by Elsevier and Science Press, under the supervision of the Department of Education of Liaoning Province, China. RCM aims to publish cutting-edge scientific research and technological development achievements related to the creation, production, characterization, and application of organic and inorganic chemicals and materials derived from a wide variety of resources. The journal mainly features invited high-quality review articles with no strict length limitation, ensuring scientific rigor and academic excellence through multi-stage peer and editorial evaluation.
RCM has been selected as one of the High-Starting-Point New Journals under the China Science and Technology Journal Excellence Action Plan (2024) and now is indexed in ESCI, EI, Scopus, Chemical Abstracts, DOAJ, and other international databases. Its 2024 CiteScore is 9.8, with a real-time CiteScore exceeding 13, and the first Impact Factor (IF) is expected in June 2026.
To enhance the role of young researchers in academic publishing and to strengthen the journal’s international visibility and influence, RCM now invites applications from outstanding young scholars worldwide to join our Young Editorial Board (YEB).
