Aims——Smart Underground Engineering is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes high-quality, scholarly research that addresses development, applications, and implications, in the field of underground engineering, computer science and emerging technologies. The interest is not in the individual technologies perse, but in their ultimate implications for the design, construction, operation, maintenance of tunnels related theoretical and application research, we welcome submissions on original advances in the understanding and particularly the progress in tunnel engineering, computer science, emerging technologies and their interdisciplinary in highway, railway, water conservancy and hydropower fields.
