The Journal of Finance and Data Science Conference call for papers

The Journal of Finance and Data Science Conference (JFDS) will host its first annual conference 8-9 August 2023 in Beijing,China. The JFDS Conference is jointly organized and sponsored by the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB), Tsinghua University PBC School of Finance (PBCSF) and of Business School at Southern University of Science & Technology of China (SUSTech Business School).
The topics of interest for this conference include, but are not limited to:
- The rise of FinTech and its implications for traditional financial institutions
- Issues related to the introduction of Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs)
- Blockchain and DeFi
- Machine learning in FinTech
- FinTech in Chinese financial markets
- NFT and Metaverse
Important Dates:
The deadline for submission is Monday, 8 May 2023. All submissions will be reviewed by a program committee of renowned international scholars, chaired by Huining Cao of Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business. Authors of accepted papers will be notified around End-May, 2023.
