Andreas Mulch is Director of the Senckenberg Research Institute and Natural History Museum Frankfurt, member of the Senckenberg Board of Directors and Professor at Goethe University Frankfurt. Prior to this appointment, he held a professorship at Leibniz University Hannover (Germany) and postdoctoral positions at the University of Minnesota and at Stanford University (USA). Dr. Mulch is an elected Fellow of the Geological Society of America, recipient of the Cox Award from Stanford University (USA) and the Abraham-Gottlob-Werner Medal of the German Mineralogical Society. Dr. Mulch’s research addresses changes in paleoclimate and how these are related to Earth surface processes and biodiversity.
