Congratulations to Prof. Xin Nie, Associate Editor of Unconventional Resources, on Receiving an International Award

On April 10th, 2025, the Society of Petrophysicists and Well Log Analysts (SPWLA), the world's most authoritative international academic organization in the field of rock physics and well logging evaluation, announced its 2026 individual achievement awards.
Prof. Xin Nie, Associate Editor of Unconventional Resources, Deputy Director of the Key Laboratory of Exploration Technologies for Oil and Gas Resources, Ministry of Education, China, Executive Vice President of SPWLA SW China Chapter and Faculty Advisor of SPWLA Yangtze University Student Chapter, has been honored with the Young Professional Technical Award by SPWLA in recognition of his technical potential and contributions demonstrated in digital rock physics and unconventional well logging evaluation. He is the third scholar to receive this prestigious award in China.
