Limited water resource and heavy environmental pollution are becoming key restrictions for the development of society and the economy all over the world. The water cycle system needs to provide an effective and sustainable solution for the global water crisis. The Global Symposium on Water Cycle (GlobalSWC) is being launched to provide a unique platform for discussion of the current advances relating to the development of a sustainable, multifaceted and multi-level water cycle system. GlobalSWC will provide an opportunity to share and exchange ideas and information with water experts worldwide and network with peer water academics, engineers, and practitioners globally.

This event will address the most recent frontiers of sciences, technologies, practices, and policies for water cycle systems and will welcome some of the most influential minds in water communities as speakers.

Committee of Water Treatment and Reuse (WTR), Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences

The Committee was founded in October 2015 under the slogan of “One Water, Beyond Water.” It is devoted to enabling innovative development on the principles, technologies, engineering, standards and management in water research fields. It also aims to build networks for professionals, cultivate talented individuals, as well as educate through the promotion of water treatment and reuse. The overall goal of the committee is to contribute to more efficient water utilisation and assure water safety which in turn will encourage to sustainable development and a more ecological society.
