Publishing Director, Interdisciplinary Science
KeAi, the Open Access Publisher, is looking for a new Publishing Director, Interdisciplinary Science.
Being the unique joint venture between two globally leading STM publishers, China Science Publishing Media Group and Elsevier, KeAi publishes more than 250 high-quality Open Access international journals, covering a wide and growing spectrum of academic disciplines.
About the role
As Publishing Director, you will lead a team of journal publishers and taking responsibility for the overall strategy, management and development of a growing portfolio of journals covering a unique range of disciplines with high growth potential to serve the global research community and advance scientific progress.
You will act as the organization’s ambassador to your journal community, nurture impactful relationships with stakeholders internally and externally, and enhance brand influence via strategic outreach and personal leadership.
Qualifications
- Master or PhD Degree
- 6+ years' experience in STM journals publishing business, with solid knowledge and enthusiasm about Open Access
- Strategic thinker, track record of innovation, problem-solving, and execution
- Experience in leading a team in matrix environment and proven managerial skills in motivating and coaching people
- Budget and P&L management experience
- Display integrity, and being able to work collaboratively within and cross teams
- Strong communication, networking stills
- Fluent in both Chinese and English
