Join our Editorial Board | Aquatic Diversity and Ecology

We are pleased to announce that a new journal Aquatic Diversity and Ecology (ISSN 3117-8634, ADE) would be launched online by Elsevier and Institute of Hydrobiology CAS. In order to support the development request, we are now open Editorial Board Member position for application.
We encourage applications from researchers with a background in a range of subject areas, broadly covered by the below:
- Aquatic Biodiversity Research: Patterns, processes, and responses to global change.
- Aquatic Ecosystem Functions: Mechanisms, monitoring, and sustainable use.
- eDNA and Environmental Omics: Applications of eDNA, metagenomics, metabolomics, and bioinformatics.
- Smart Waters and Digital Ecology: Innovations in remote sensing, modeling, big data analytics, and intelligent monitoring.
- Ecological Restoration and practice: Science-based case studies, assessments, and solutions for ecosystem recovery.
- Open Data and Methods: High-value datasets, long-term monitoring archives, novel algorithms, and reproducible protocols.
Criteria
A suitable Editorial Board Member of ADE is as someone who:
- Is committed to open access, data sharing and innovation in scientific publishing.
- Has a minimum 15 research papers published in reputable peer-review journals.
- Supports the journal's scope, editorial standards, and policies.
- Provides a professional and supportive service to our authors and editorial office.
The term of the Editorial Board membership is two years, and will be renewed periodically.
Role and responsibilities
The Editorial Board Members are mainly responsible on scientific part, like paper quality control, topic select and journal development strategy discussion.
Aquatic Diversity and Ecology (ISSN 3117-8634) is a fully open access official journal owned by Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. We aim to become an authoritative platform to report high impact, cutting edge research work, new discoveries or developments in any field of aquatic diversity and aquatic ecology.
